By 31 December 2009, the Institute had 179 full-time employees in all, including 6 workers on long-term parental care leave and unpaid leave. The full-time workers included 78 scientific researchers (of whom 30 were self-dependent), 47 engineers and technicians (of whom 29 had a scientific degree) and 54 other employees. Doctoral Studies are attended by 17 participants.
